A multi-dimensional dance company whose work is located by its fascination with artifice, contemporary art and technologie feminine. CPPC

Chrissie Parrott Performance Company (formally Jambird) was founded by Chrissie Parrott - a highly prolific, multi-award winning dance choreographer, and Jonathan Mustard - an experienced composer, working with computer music, visual arts and animation.

Together they create hybrid performance works which are highly theatrical and often merge dance with theatre, visual arts, and live music.

In 2008 Parrott and Mustard, together with Blue Moon Film and Video, were commissioned by iArts to create Motel Deception - a multi-platform, multi-artform work which included a short dance film that was screened on ABCTV in June 2009, and an interactive website.

Since working with Performing Lines WA, Parrott and Mustard has toured Metadance to South Korea for the Daejeon Summer Night Dance Festival and 15th ChangMu International Arts Festival, and presented a sellout season of The Garden at the Moores Building Contemporary Art Gallery, Fremantle.

In January 2011 Parrott and Mustard presented Cyg.net 2 at the opening gala performance at the new State Theatre Centre of Western Australia. Currently they are in creative development for Reign, a multi-art form production exploring the artwork of Patrick Doherty in a theatrical arena.
